GŌNG is the Shangri-La's bar fifty-two floors up the Shard, and the glass is the whole point of the room. It faces south and east over Bermondsey, Greenwich and the estuary, with Tower Bridge, the Tower and the City stacked to the north. Booking is the usual way in and the dress is smart.
