A Dangerous Calling: 500 Years of William Tyndale's New Testament

Six historic Bibles, including the 1526 first edition, in the cathedral that would have burned him for it.

History

St Paul's marks five hundred years of Tyndale's English New Testament, one of the smallest and most dangerous books in the language, with six historic Bibles including a 1526 first edition, an interactive display on the cathedral floor and a film in the crypt. Included in the sightseeing ticket (£27 adults, £10.50 children); seeing the original Tyndale up close needs the separate £16 Treasures tour.
