Started as a wine magazine and became a restaurant, which is the right way round: the list is long, opinionated and full of things you will not have seen, with older burgundy and German riesling given more room than the fashion allows. The Lamb's Conduit Street room is dark and low and the food is properly good. Their own site describes the three sites - here, Soho and Mayfair - as award-winning restaurants. Book ahead.
