Two pieces of bronze, one like a blade and one like a bone, five metres tall and a metre apart, which Moore set on Abingdon Street Gardens across from the Palace of Westminster so that people could walk between them; he said the idea began with a fragment of bird's breastbone. It is the backdrop to every television interview done outside Parliament, and almost nobody looks at it. The Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Jewel Tower are its neighbours.
