Madame Charbonnel came from a Parisian chocolate house at the encouragement of Edward VII, then Prince of Wales, and went into partnership with Mrs Walker. The firm has held a royal warrant since.
The pink champagne truffles are the famous ones and the rose and violet creams are the ones worth taking home. The shop is in the Royal Arcade, which is worth walking through anyway.
