Farmers' Markets

Where the person behind the stall grew it. London's farmers' markets, most of them one morning a week: raw milk and day-boat fish, biodynamic vegetables and rare-breed meat, and two midweek markets that are really about lunch.

Swiss Cottage Farmers' Market

London Farmers' Markets' first midweek market, on a Wednesday with hot food at lunchtime.

MidweekOrganic & biodynamicHot food to eat there

A Wednesday rather than a weekend, which makes it a top-up market rather than the weekly shop - meat, vegetables, juice, fruit and bread, with hot food arriving for the lunch hour. March House Farm's free-range meat, tomatoes in season from the Tomato Stall, vegetables from Ted's Veg and Wild Country Organics, and biodynamic eggs, juice, fruit and vegetables from Brambletye.

It has been featured on Farming Today on Radio 4. Ten in the morning until three.
