Tate holds the largest public collection of the Bloomsbury painters - Vanessa Bell's Studland Beach and her portraits of Virginia, Duncan Grant's bathers and interiors, Fry, Carrington - and from November 2026 to April 2027 gives them the big exhibition, Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant: Inside Bloomsbury, with three hundred works and the Charleston studio rebuilt in the gallery. The permanent collection is free; the Bloomsbury pictures move around the British galleries and are worth asking for.
