A carriage pulled by shire horses through the gardens.
Parks & natureFamily friendly
A pair of Shire horses pull a cart round the East Front gardens at walking pace, which is roughly how anybody would have crossed them for most of the palace's five hundred years. Weekends only, tickets bought from the driver, £5 a ride and free under two. The carts are not wheelchair accessible.
