At Hampton Court Palace.

On autumn weekends the palace's experimental historians work the real fires and charcoal stoves of Henry VIII's kitchens, following period recipes with replica tools, and explain the rest of the operation: feeding 450 people twice a day, the table rules, the laundering of napkins and the polishing of serving dishes. Included in admission; the food is not for eating.
