Classical

At St Bartholomew's Hospital Museum.

Ensemble Renard are a London wind quintet of five young players backed by City Music Foundation, which supports musicians in the years just after conservatoire. The programme runs from Reicha, who more or less invented the wind quintet, through Bartók's Bulgarian dances arranged by George Strivens, to Birtwistle's Refrains and Choruses and Nielsen's quintet.
