Ideal for a sunny day. And for a cold rainy day: "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
The Serpentine down the middle, and the only central park big enough to lose people in.
Parks & commonsFree
Also in Royal London.
Three hundred and fifty acres in the middle of town. The Serpentine runs down the centre with rowing boats and pedalos for hire and a lido at the south side; the Rose Garden down at Hyde Park Corner is the quietest end of it and the best-planted. Speakers' Corner still fills on a Sunday.
What most people call Hyde Park is two parks. West of the Serpentine bridge and West Carriage Drive it becomes Kensington Gardens, which is listed separately.
