At Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.

The Battle of Cable Street was ninety years ago on 4 October, and the Friends are marching in the anniversary parade. The week before, they make the banners: a walk through the park and a talk about the radicals buried in it, then woodblock printing on fabric with the textile artist F. Zeeshan Choudhury, whose blocks are cut as flowers and plants found on the site. Meet at the Soanes Centre, 10:00 to 16:00. Free for adults and children alike, with a donation towards materials if you can manage one.
