Brutto does the food of Florence without decoration: bistecca, ribollita, crostini di fegato. Like the trattorias it is copying, it serves no fish at all, though there are vegetarian and vegan dishes. The room is low-lit and noisy, the bar runs on five-pound Negronis and spritzes, and it has held its Bib Gourmand every year since 2022.
