Le Cordon Bleu teaches cooking, and this is where it shows what it teaches, in a building Edwin Lutyens designed for the Press Association. The kitchen sits behind glass with the chefs in full whites, and the cooking is classical and then presented as though it were not - venison en croute, a Black Forest gateau rebuilt.
