The model is the grand cafes of Vienna and Prague, and the menu follows them: eggs in the morning, schnitzel and sausages at night, afternoon tea in between. Panelled walls, green leather and a marble floor. There is a pre-theatre menu for the Aldwych crowd, and occasional evenings where someone from the stage is interviewed between courses.
