Fischer's is a konditorei as much as a restaurant, so the morning is eggs and viennoiserie and the afternoon is a slice of sachertorte. Later the menu turns Central European and the schnitzel is the thing to order - the crust holds, and the Holstein garnish of anchovy, caper and fried egg earns its supplement.
