Skewers off the fire are the centre of it - a tsukune of chicken and blood sausage, a Duroc pork chop - Japanese seasoning applied to British meat. The room is reclaimed wood with a wall of records down one side, and a curved staircase drops to a sushi counter and a listening room. Everything is sized for sharing, so order less than you think.
