Petrus is named for the Pomerol estate, and a glass-walled cellar of more than seven hundred bins stands in the middle of the room, Chateau Petrus among them going back to 1959. The cooking is classical French and unembarrassed about luxury - lobster, turbot - with very little decoration on the plate.
