Danny Lee Wynter on the families you are given and the ones you pick.
At Donmar Warehouse.
Ted Martin is a mixed-race teenager in 1990s east London, in a house of chaos, laughter and hard love, until Patrick arrives with a sense of style, a sense of humour and a love of show tunes, and another way of living becomes visible. Danny Lee Wynter wrote it and the Donmar's artistic director Tim Sheader directs. A world premiere, and there is a good deal of Streisand in it.
