Seckou Keita and The Homeland Band

Thirty years of the kora, and the cellist Abel Selaocoe with him.

Folk & world

At Islington Assembly Hall.

Seckou Keita is a Senegalese kora player from a griot family who has spent three decades making the instrument do things outside its tradition - with Welsh harp, with jazz, with orchestras. The anniversary tour brings the Homeland Band and guests, among them the South African cellist Abel Selaocoe, who moves between beatboxers and concerto platforms with the same ease.

19:00. Sixteen and over. From £33.54.
