Wishbone Ash

The band that made two lead guitars playing in harmony a thing other bands copied.

Rock & indie

At Islington Assembly Hall.

Wishbone Ash worked out in the early 1970s that two lead guitarists could play harmony lines rather than take turns, and Argus made the case so thoroughly that Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and most of what followed took it as given. Five decades on, still touring it.

19:00. Sixteen and over. From £39.31.
