The Four Seasons in a Georgian church lit by candles, on Trafalgar Square.
Classical
Miki Takahashi leads the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of London through the four concertos, in Gibbs's church of 1726 with the electric light off. Vivaldi published them in 1725 with a sonnet attached to each - the barking dog in Spring, the summer thunderstorm, the drunks falling over in Autumn, the chattering teeth of Winter - and the writing is unusually literal about all of it. 19:00.
