Doc'n Roll: Hakeem, with Hak Baker

A documentary about the musician Hak Baker, with Baker there afterwards to answer questions and play.

At Rio Cinema.

DEADHORSES followed Hak Baker for five years, through the sudden arrival of an audience and what it did to him, and made a film that is as much about class and masculinity in east London as about the music. Baker is from the Isle of Dogs and sings about it.

He is at this screening: a conversation afterwards, and then an acoustic set in the cinema. It is part of Doc'n Roll, the London music documentary festival, and of The Music is Black, a season at the Olympic Park.
