Farmers' Markets

Where the person behind the stall grew it. London's farmers' markets, most of them one morning a week: raw milk and day-boat fish, biodynamic vegetables and rare-breed meat, and two midweek markets that are really about lunch.

Kensington Farmers' Market

A shaded, tree-lined street beside the old town hall, given over to stalls on Sunday mornings.

Phillimore Walk is a good place to hold a market - wide, quiet and lined with trees - and the range is the full weekly shop: fish and shellfish landed that week, seasonal fruit and vegetables, pies, fresh bread, game in season, free-range and organic eggs and poultry, meat, preserves and flowers.

Established in September 2020, which makes it one of the newer ones. Most stalls take cards though a few are cash only, and not all of them come every week.
