Farmers' Markets

Where the person behind the stall grew it. London's farmers' markets, most of them one morning a week: raw milk and day-boat fish, biodynamic vegetables and rare-breed meat, and two midweek markets that are really about lunch.

Food halls, street food and the daily markets are in Food Markets

Pimlico Road Farmers' Market

Under Mozart's statue on Orange Square, with day-boat fish and space to sit with it.

SaturdayDay-boat fish

Orange Square is a small leafy triangle with a statue of the young Mozart on it, who lived nearby, and the market has enough room around the stalls to sit down rather than keep moving. Apples and juice, fresh pasta, free-range eggs, meat and poultry, seasonal game, day-boat fish and shellfish, artisan bread and cheeses, and whatever is in season from asparagus to cherries.

A Time Out Love London award winner, and one of the longer Saturdays - it runs to two in the afternoon.
