The Nehru Centre programmes almost nightly from a Mayfair house: classical Indian music and dance, poetry evenings, film screenings, lectures on medicine and history and art, and exhibitions in the gallery downstairs. Much of it is put on with the Indian cultural societies in Britain rather than by the centre alone, which is why the range is as wide as it is. Events almost always start at 18:30.
