The Library's big winter show on the woman rather than the books: the Remington typewriter said to have written And Then There Were None, notes for the Witness for the Prosecution stage adaptation, the typescript of House of Beauty written as a teenager, her 1917 pharmacy revision, family photographs from Egypt, Hawaii and southern Africa and a letter home from the Orient Express, set in rooms built as a country house, a wartime dispensary, a train carriage, a dig and a West End theatre, with clues hidden through it.
