Carve your own design into a slab of stone with a mason whose work is already in the cemetery.
Make something
Neil Luxton has cut some of the newer monuments at Highgate, and spends the day in the courtyard teaching the tools and the technique: how to set out a design, how to hold a chisel, how to cut a letter. The slab goes home with you. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and lunch is not. 10:00 to 16:00. £149.
