One of the smallest theatres in the West End, and where The Mousetrap spent its first twenty-two years before moving next door.

Sprague built it in 1913 as the first of the pair he made on West Street, St Martin's following three years later. It seats just over four hundred, which makes it one of the smallest houses in the West End, and it is historically protected.
The Mousetrap opened here on 25 November 1952 and stayed until March 1974, when it moved across the alley to St Martin's without missing a performance. Plays, and the kind that suit a room where the back row is close.
