A third play, a third stand-up, a third rave, made out of a year that went wrong.
At Soho Theatre.
Kate Dehnert's own description is the honest one: what do you do when your life explodes? Hers did - the relationship, the career, the income, the visa, the country she lived in, nearly all her possessions, and nearly her. Echo is the show she built out of it, and it is not shaped like a stand-up set: a third of it is a play, a third of it is stand-up, and a third of it is a club.
Chortle called her a force to be reckoned with and the Herald Sun the dawning of a psychedelicomic superstar. Sixty minutes upstairs, sixteen and over, £18.
