At KOKO.

aja monet calls herself a surrealist blues poet, which is close enough: she won the Nuyorican Grand Slam younger than anyone else has, wrote my mother was a freedom fighter, and made when the poems do what they do, a poetry album with a band that was nominated for a Grammy. She performs it as music rather than as a reading. keiyaA's Forever, Ya Girl took Pitchfork's Best New Music for a record built out of R&B, jazz and sampled soul, and Momoko Gill opens.

Part of Pitchfork Music Festival London. 19:00 to 23:00. Fourteen and over; 14s and 15s need an adult with them.
