Chat Pile

Oklahoma City noise rock about American dread, and very loud.

Rock & indie

At KOKO.

Chat Pile are named after the heaps of mining waste left around their part of Oklahoma, which tells you the register. Three albums in six years have each taken a wider frame - God's Country on American dread, Cool World on systemic violence, and Who Loves The Sun on what collective indifference does - carried on noise rock heavy enough that the words arrive as much through the chest as the ear.

19:00 to 23:00. Fourteen and over; 14s and 15s need an adult with them.
