GoGo Penguin are three musicians from Manchester - Chris Illingworth on piano, Nick Blacka on bass, Jon Scott on drums - who write in the shapes of drum and bass and minimal techno and then play them by hand. Necessary Fictions is the new record and the first to bring modular synths, a Moog Grandmother and electric bass properly into the sound, so the acoustic and the electronic run into each other rather than alternating.
Two nights, Monday and Tuesday, 19:00 to 23:00. Fourteen and over; 14s and 15s need an adult with them.
