None of the eight Harry Potter films came here, but the second Fantastic Beasts did: the rally Grindelwald holds in a Parisian cemetery was shot in the West Cemetery, with the Egyptian Avenue's obelisk gateway, the Circle of Lebanon's ring of vaults under the cedar and the Terrace Catacombs all on screen, dressed as Père Lachaise. It needs no film to justify the trip: the Victorian cemetery on the hill is the most extraordinary in London, and the West side's tours go into the catacombs the wizards used.
