Frankenstein with the RPO playing live

The 1931 film with an orchestra in the room, which it never had in 1931.

At Cadogan Hall.

James Whale's Frankenstein came out with almost no music at all - the studio thought audiences would wonder where an orchestra was hiding. Michael Shapiro wrote one for it, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra play it under the picture. Twice, at 15:30 and 19:00.
