Royal Philharmonic Orchestra: Mozart Revealed

An hour on the Jupiter symphony: taken apart, then played whole.

Classical

At Cadogan Hall.

Vasily Petrenko and the writer Leah Broad open the RPO's Cadogan season by pulling Mozart's last symphony to pieces and then performing it complete, all inside an hour with no interval. The finale runs five separate themes at once in the last minutes, which is the sort of thing that is easier to hear once somebody has pointed it out. Twice, at 18:00 and 20:30; £24.50 gallery, £39.50 stalls, £9 for under-18s.
