Two Sevens Clash and the Congos' falsetto, on one bill.
Folk & world
At Jazz Cafe.
Culture's Two Sevens Clash is one of the records roots reggae is built on - Joseph Hill's prophecy of what would happen when the sevens met in 1977, which half of Kingston believed. Hill died in 2006 and his son Kenyatta took the microphone and kept the band going. Sharing the stage is Cedric Myton, the falsetto and the founder of the Congos, whose Heart of the Congos is the other record on that list.
