Angel's Bone

Two angels fall to earth and are taken in by a couple who work out what they are worth.

Opera

At London Coliseum.

Du Yun's Pulitzer-winning opera-theatre piece, to a libretto by Royce Vavrek, is a parable about human trafficking: a desperate couple find two injured angels in their garden, take them in, and turn care into a business. It fuses opera with rock, punk and spoken word, and this is its UK premiere, staged by the Australian director Kip Williams in his ENO debut, with Baldur Brönnimann conducting and Allison Cook and Rodney Earl Clarke as the couple.

Sung in English with surtitles, one hour fifteen minutes without an interval. ENO gives it an 18+ guidance for depictions of sexual violence and trafficking.
