The climb goes first to the Whispering Gallery inside the drum, then out to the Stone Gallery at the base of the dome, then up narrow stairs between the inner and outer domes to the Golden Gallery at eighty-five metres: a walkway round the lantern with a rail and nothing else. The City is directly below, the river and the Shard south, the West End west. It is included in the cathedral ticket rather than sold separately.
