Every last girl: educating India's forgotten daughters

The founder of Educate Girls on finding the girls nobody counts.

Lecture / talkBooks & writersFree

At London School of Economics.

Safeena Husain built Educate Girls around a single figure: the girl least likely to be in school, known in the organisation as Antimbala, the last girl. What began in a handful of villages has reached more than 31,500 of them and helped over two million girls into education. She talks to Stephan Chambers about how the model works and what it cost to build. Hosted by the Marshall Institute.
