Six years a hostage in Iran, told by the woman who was held.
Lecture / talk
At Royal Geographical Society.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was arrested at Tehran airport in March 2016 on her way home from a holiday, her daughter's passport confiscated, and convicted six months later of plotting against the Iranian government. She spent six years in detention, some of it in solitary confinement, through four British foreign secretaries and a fifteen-day hunger strike over the denial of medical care, while her husband Richard campaigned from London. She talks about that, and about the people still being held. Presented by the How To Academy. From £34.95.
