Fretwork have been playing consort music on viols since 1986 and mark the fortieth with a programme conducted by Sir George Benjamin and sung by Susan Bickley, Iestyn Davies and Ian Bostridge, with Silas Wollston at the organ. William Lawes's six-part Consort Sett in F, Schütz's Auf dem Gebirge, and Pearsall's Lay a garland arranged for viols by Fretwork's own Richard Boothby. 19:00, £18 to £50.
