Robert Levin: a Mozart lecture-recital

The scholar who finishes Mozart's unfinished pieces, playing them and explaining as he goes.

Classical

At Wigmore Hall.

Levin has spent a career completing what Mozart left unfinished and improvising the ornamentation the way Mozart's own audiences would have heard it. Now a lecture-recital rather than a straight one: the Suite in C K399, whose sarabande and gigue he completed himself, the ten variations on Unser dummer Pöbel meint, the Adagio in C K356 and the Sonata in F K332. 19:30, £18 to £40.
