Atwood's three novels run from a corporate world through the plague that ends it to whatever comes after, and McGregor has made three acts out of them rather than a digest. Max Richter wrote the score. It sold out its first run in 2024, which is not usual for a new full-length ballet on a dystopian subject.
Two hours forty including two intervals. The house recommends it from sixteen, which for a ballet is worth noticing.
