The sequel that put a boy in the scream queen's part, introduced by the film curator Sarah Cleary.
Freddy Krueger comes back wanting a body to work through, and picks Jesse Walsh. The film was made in 1985 as a straight sequel and has been read ever since as something else entirely - Mark Patton's performance, the sweat and the shower scenes, a subtext nobody involved agrees about. Patton himself has since made a documentary on what it cost him. The curator Sarah Cleary introduces it for Funeral Parade, the cinema's queer film society.
