Toy Machine's Welcome to Hell came out in 1996 and set the terms for handrail skating - Jamie Thomas filming himself throwing his body at things, Elissa Steamer's part, Ed Templeton's whole aesthetic. Enjoi's Bag of Suck, from 2006, won video of the year on Jerry Hsu's skating and a sense of humour that treated the form as ridiculous and loved it anyway. Skateboard Film Club runs both, with introductions recorded by Ed Templeton and Louie Barletta.
