Funeral Parade presents The Skin I Live In

Almodovar's surgeon-and-captive thriller, introduced by the artist and writer Maz Murray.

At Prince Charles Cinema.

Antonio Banderas plays a plastic surgeon who has perfected a skin that will not burn, and Elena Anaya the woman he has been testing it on. Pedro Almodovar calls it a horror film without screams, and it turns on a revelation about who she is that the film withholds for an hour. The artist, filmmaker and author Maz Murray introduces it for Funeral Parade, the cinema's queer film society, which programmes a night here most months.
